20SHOTS sign partnership with Generation Web sportsbook platform in Australia

UK start up betting technology provider to supply flagship B2C product Fantasy5 to Generation Web sportsbook clients.

  • British betting technology provider 20SHOTS have signed a partnership agreement with Australian sports betting platform Generation Web - marking the first deal between the supplier and a third party platform

  • The deal will see 20SHOTS flagship B2C product Fantasy5 offered to Generation Web’s Australian sportsbook’s soccer betting clients at brands like TopSport, EliteBet and PlayUp

  • Fantasy5 currently fastest-growing free-to-play football game in UK industry

20SHOTS have signed a partnership and completed integration with leading Australian sports betting platform Generation Web.

The deal will see the UK betting technology provider’s flagship free-to-play B2C product Fantasy5 supplied to Generation Web’s sportsbook partners.

The deal is the first of its kind for 20SHOTS and it will see operators drive players to enter the free-play weekly football jackpot game for the first time, accelerating Fantasy5’s organic growth which has already seen it become the UK betting industry’s fastest growing FTP product this football season.

Following a three-day integration, the product is now live and available on Generation Web’s platform.

The agreement allows customers of Generation Web’s sportsbook clients to play Fantasy5 as an integrated product featuring its own branding as a part of the partner sportsbook’s offering, within their existing mobile, desktop and app eco-systems via a single login as managed by their operator account.

Customers playing via Australian sportsbooks will enter the same global pool of players - currently standing at over 46,000 - with the jackpot for an Australian sportsbook entrant set at $20,000 Australian Dollars ( £11,180).

The agreement will see 20SHOTS underwrite the full liability for any jackpot, with operators paying a fixed fee per entrant per round.

Fantasy5 have recruited over 46,000 customers since their soft launch at the start of the delayed 2020/21 Premier League season, with an average weekly retention rate of 78%.

So far, 3 players have entered winning teams with one standalone winner of the £10,000 jackpot and another two splitting the prize fund.

Fantasy5’s organic growth this season in numbers:

  • 46,612 players recruited

  • 78% retention rate week-on-week

  • 3.8 Average sessions per user per week

Commenting on the partnership and integration, Hamish Davidson, CEO, Generation Web said: "Following a smooth and swift integration the Fantasy5 product is now live on our platform and available for all partner sportsbooks to offer their soccer customers a free shot at the $20,000 jackpot.

The agreement demonstrates our commitment to offer our sportsbook partners the best and most innovative recruitment and retention products with free-to-play representing a key growth area.

We're delighted to be the first platform to make Fantasy5 available to Premier League fans in Australia and based on their UK growth we look forward to celebrating Australia's first jackpot winner soon."

20SHOTS co-founder Jacob Kalms said: “Our partnership with GenWeb is now complete and active meaning for the first time, their operators can integrate and utilise Fantasy5 to recruit, retain and engage football sportsbook customers on the world’s most popular football betting medium, the Premier League. Our organic growth and retention rates suggest that operators will benefit from the stickiness of the product when introduced to their audience at scale. Strategic partnerships with operators and platforms represent the next phase of our growth beyond organic customer acquisition and we are delighted to sign a major agreement just months after soft-launching our flagship product.”
